I have enjoyed many opportunities to innovate with graphics and image manipulation. These range from a highly original solution for image composition on the web, to mathematically advanced VBA solutions for the manufacture of bespoke products.

June 2004 to August 2006 - Self employed, various contracts

As a self-employed web-developer I provided consultation, coding and implementation for new websites, as well as competitively priced overhauls of existing websites.

Summer 2002 - John Reilly Civil Engineering Ltd, Eastleigh

My main responsibility was the creation of the company website, from consultation and design to uploading the final product. I was also responsible for IT assistance to about 20 employees. In addition, I spent time on-site as an engineer's assistant, learning hands-on experience of his work; I applied this experience by programming his graphical calculator to automate a great deal of on-site calculation.

May 1997 - IBM, Hursley

This experience, in third level technical support, was extremely valuable since it introduced me to a team environment and emphasised the importance of learning to be versatile and to use many different tools. I subsequently used these new skills during my placement in order to help with the debugging of voice recognition software.
